Facilities & Access
We have an on-site gift shop offering a selection of cards, gifts and Sulgrave Manor souvenirs. We offer light refreshments in our brewhouse.
Parking and arrival
Our free car park is approximately 150 metres from Visitor Reception. The pathway to Visitor Reception is gravel. It is possible to arrange closer access to the site through a side entrance – please speak to Visitor Reception when you arrive.
The shop, George Washington exhibition and toilets are fully accessible. Sulgrave Manor is a rural site, maintained to reflect its history. Some areas around the grounds are uneven. There are gravel paths around the site. There is always a trained first aider on duty.
The House
Sulgrave Manor is an historic house set over two floors. Due to its age, floors can be uneven. We welcome visitors using wheelchairs or walking aids to access the ground floor of the house. Please contact us ahead of your visit if you would like to discuss specific access requirements.
Families and young visitors
We have an outdoor play area and offer house and garden trails and activities for children throughout the year. Due to the size of the house, pushchairs are not permitted.
The Garden
There is an accessible route around the gardens. Pathways are mainly gravel, with some grass and paving stone.
Guide and Assistance Dogs
Guide and assistance dogs are welcome. No other dogs are permitted so please ensure your dog is wearing its identifying jacket.
Companions and Carers
For visitors who require a carer or companion, we offer free companion or carer tickets.
